What is the registration process for Online banking?
You can register for Online banking on the phone or online.

Can I still use my local bank for manual transactions?
Yes. You will be able to carry out a range of transactions online but you will still have to visit a branch for some transactions such as depositing cash and cheques.

How secure is NatWest Online banking?
NatWest Online banking is very secure and uses the latest encryption techniques and fraud detections systems. We also provide software for you to install on your computer which helps to keep internet fraudsters from acquiring your login information.

Can I add other accounts to Online banking?
Yes. You can add other NatWest current and savings accounts but you cannot add accounts with other banks.

My card reader isn't working. What can I do?
If your card reader is damaged or will not switch on when you insert your card, please type "cared reader" into our interactive Help 24x7 which is fully supported by webchat and we'll be able to help.

What's my daily transactions limit?
With Online banking you can make as many transactions as you like each day up to the value of £20,000. If the total of your daily payments will be up to £30,000, Bankline Lite may be the best service for you. For frequent daily transactions exceeding £30,000, you may be better using Bankline.

Can I give notice for transfers or payments from a notice account?
No, you can not give notice on payments from notice accounts in Online Banking or Bankline Lite. Any payment or transfer instruction from this service may incur fees and charges for the notice period. Please see the product information for your notice account to get details of these fees and charges.

Can I manage both my personal and business accounts within Online banking?
Yes.

How do I transfer money between my NatWest accounts using Online banking?
You can use the Quick Transfers panel or the transfers section in Online banking.
