Livestock farmer secures funding from NatWest

Yorkshire-based livestock farmers, Peter and Alison Turner saw the potential to generate sustainable energy and reduce their running costs by installing a wind turbine.

Given the high capital outlay involved, the Turners approached their Relationship Manager, Sophie Fisher, for guidance on how best to fund this new addition to their farm. Sophie created a tailored loan package for the couple, based on the upfront capital cost of the turbine and the projected income stream from the Government Feed-in-Tariff (FiT).
