When is partnership status suitable?

A partnership is a good status to use when your business will involve two or more people owning a business together. Like a sole trader, a partnership has no separate legal identity and does not need to register with Companies House. Partnerships (except for professional partnerships such as accountants and solicitors) cannot normally have more than 20 partners.
