What should I expect to pay for Internet services?

  • Most dial-up accounts cost about £10 per month, and you pay normal telephone tariffs for the time you spend on the Internet.
  • Costs vary to install a permanent connection to the Internet (with a high-speed cable or ISDN line), especially if this requires the physical installation of cables. ISDN or ADSL installation costs can be as low as £25-£50, with a monthly fee of about £15.
